Bareboat Hirer's Liability Insurance (Personal Liability)
This policy is designed to protect you from claims made against you by Third Parties as a result of your negligence in the operation or use of a hired vessel.It provides insurance against your legal liability to pay claims for Loss or Damage to Third Party Property, or the Accidental Death, Bodily Injury or Illness of a Third Party. This insurance is optional, but highly recommended.
For this policy to respond to claims made against you, you and the hired vessel (the named Bareboat) or its tender must be involved in the loss.
Before we can proceed with this application form for insurance, you are required to acknowledge that you have read the Oceanic Insurance Financial Services Guide and Bareboat Hirers policy.
Prices vary depending on whether you are chartering up to 5 nights, 6 to 9 nights or 10 nights and over.
