1. Relax in the calm, clear waters of the Airlie Beach Lagoon
, right in the town centre. Sunbathing, stinger-free swimming and more are to be enjoyed in this family-friendly spot.2. There are some great walking trails in this region. A very short hike with the reward of stunning views (and a possible glimpse of Proserpine Rock Wallabies) is the Airlie Creek Track
