ACCOMMODATION
Please note that where the Vessel states Max Passengers, this is the number of passengers allowed on board according to the boat survey.
When the Max Passenger numbers on board exceed the number of cabins, the extra Bed is the Drop Down Bed in the Saloon/Dining area, (which is the Dining Table which converts to a bed) which usually accommodates, 2 people, however, on some vessels the Drop-down Bed may only be big enough for a single Adult or a child. (The Forepeak Berths are not in use as cabins.)
The Cabins are double occupancy for couples or friends/children who are happy to share a cabin, there are a few single beds in some of our vessels, however a single person may take a Cabin, or the Drop Down Bed in the Saloon/Dining area.
Please contact our team to clarify the sleeping arrangements during your booking or if you decide to add extra people on board please advise our team in a timely manner to make sure that it is possible to accommodate your extra guests on your vessel.
Please note that recommended number of passengers may differ to Max Passengers as for your comfort on board we sometimes recommend less people for your comfort and privacy, so your guests will each have a cabin and access to a bathroom and frees up the space for Dining.

In the event of any deductions from the Security Bond for insurance excess or consequential credit card or banking charges, demurrage, repair of any damage or loss of equipment, or any accident, breakdown, recall or repossession of the Boat, the balance will be refunded to the Charterer as soon as is reasonably practicable once the repairs are completed or the deduction is calculated, whichever is the latter.
Regardless of clause 13.3, even if the fault is caused or contributed through no fault of the Operator or Charterer (for example, such as striking a marine animal or submerged object) the risk is that of the Charterer’s and the Charterer is not entitled to any refund of Charter Fees and is liable for all damage assessed against the Boat. It is recommended the Charterer takes out appropriate insurance cover for such events.

Important Information About Sail Guides & Hostesses on Your Charter
Welcome aboard! We’re excited to help you plan an unforgettable adventure on the water. Whether you’re looking for some extra sailing guidance or would prefer to relax and have someone take care of the cooking, we have options to enhance your experience. Here’s what you need to know about Sail Guides and Hostesses on your charter.
Sail Guides – Extra Guidance, Not a Skipper
If you’d like a bit of extra confidence at the start of your charter, you can request a Sail Guide to help you get comfortable handling your vessel.
What a Sail Guide CAN do:
- Assist with sailing and boat handling techniques.
- Provide local knowledge on the best anchorages, moorings, and must-visit spots.
- Guide you until you feel confident taking full control of the vessel.
What a Sail Guide CANNOT do:
- A Sail Guide cannot drive the boat for you.
- They are not a Skipper and will not take control of the vessel.
- They cannot operate the dinghy for you, for touring the islands, they can instruct and assist with the use of the Dinghy, however the Client must operate the Dinghy, for most of the time it is used.
- The Sail Guide cannot stay on board for the entire charter as a Skipper —once you are comfortable, they may disembark or alternatively remain on board at your discretion to assist.
Who Can Charter a Boat with a Sail Guide?
- You must have some prior boating or sailing experience.
- A Sail Guide is available for those who need a bit of tuition—not for those who need someone to skipper the boat.
- If you have no sailing experience, you cannot charter a boat with just a Sail Guide. Instead, you may need a Skippered Charter, where a licensed skipper operates the vessel for you.
These rules are set by AMSA (Australian Maritime Safety Authority) to ensure compliance with Hire and Drive (4D) regulations, meaning the Charter Client (you) must be able to operate the vessel themselves.
Want to Relax? Add a Hostess/Cook to Your Charter!
If you’d rather sit back and enjoy your holiday without the hassle of cooking, we can provide a Hostess/Cook to take care of meals and galley duties.
What a Hostess/Cook CAN do:
- Prepare and serve meals, canapés, and drinks.
- Tidy up the galley after meals.
What a Hostess/Cook DOES NOT do:
- Take care of children, make beds or clean bathrooms and bedrooms.
- Work beyond dinner service—her day will end after dinner.
Important Notes About Sail Guide & Hostess Accommodations:
- Your Sail Guide and/or Hostess will require a private cabin, as well as meals and beverages throughout the charter.
If you’re unsure about which service is best for you, get in touch! We’re happy to help you create the perfect charter experience.
Looking forward to welcoming you on board!
