Dream Yacht Charter recently teamed up with Tourism Queensland and Pedestrian. TV to showcase how fun bareboating in the Whitsundays can be. Actor and presenter, Tai Hara, of Home and Away fame spent three days bareboating in the Whitsundays on board our Bali 4.3 Sinatra Catamaran.
Tai Hara Puts The ‘Bare’ In Bareboating The Whitsundays
Tai flew in to Prosperine, an easy three hour flight from Sydney, before taking the short drive to Airlie Beach where Dream Yacht Charter welcomed him aboard our Bali 4.3 Sinatra Catamaran.
After an introduction to the boat, which Tai remarked was “bigger than my place in Sydney,” and a safety briefing, Tai set sail for Nara Inlet, a protected anchorage on Hook Island.
Time to drop anchor and enjoy a delicious lunch courtesy of Whitsunday Provisioning.
After a chilled afternoon, Tai and co. fired up the bbq and had early night in Nara Inlet. Day two was spent snorkelling in the stunning Maureen’s Cove and checking out the nearby freshwater rockpool and waterfall. Anchorage overnight at Stonehaven.
Day three was another fun-filled day, paddleboarding in Blue Pearl Bay and foraging for oysters.
