You can plan your itinerary to avoid the crowds 

If you want to keep away from other people, spend your time researching your itinerary carefully. We’ve so much local knowledge too, so talk to our reservation team for advice on a suggested itinerary, if you want to find the most secluded bays, coves and anchorages where often you’ll be the only boat there.

You also get the chance to swim in the middle of the ocean with amazing tropical fish, our beloved sea turtles, dolphins and if you are very lucky a whale or 2, surrounding you, not something you can do so easily at a pool ashore. You can choose when and where you stop – if your original choice looks busy you can sail onto the next destination. The time and pace are for you to decide, so it is super relaxed. We offer snorkelling gear with all of our vessels, which has been professionally cleaned at t Aqua Dive next to our base in Coral Sea Marina. You can collect your correct sizes and make sure it all fits perfectly prior to your charter. You don’t have to dine out

When it comes to provisioning, you do not need to take any additional precautions than you would do going about your daily business at home right now. If you are worried about dining out, it is very easy to prepare quick, tasty meals onboard. You can provision yourself on arrival at the local supermarkets, ask our reservations team about shopping for your Charter, they will be happy to point you in the right direction and offer a few tips on what to buy and quantities and sizes of the fridges etc. Order in advance and get it delivered for your arrival or use our recommended provisioning service Whitprov Whitsunday Provisioning.

Chartering in the Whitsunday’s is ideal for fishing and catching your own fish for dinner is a fun activity for all of the family and a real thrill for kid’s. Less Shopping and more Fun

Provision wisely and you can also limit the fresh food you need with a few little tips from our reservations team or Whitsunday Provisioning. Make sure, prior to doing your shopping that you take note of the Fridge and Freezer sizes and the cupboard capacity of your vessel. We can provide extra Eskies for storing your food if needed. My go-to list for Charter shopping is how many breakfasts, lunches and dinners do you need and add some nibblies with drinks and snacks, drinks of course, and a litre of drinking water per person per day. Be mindful of packaging (take packets out of their boxes etc (easier to store in limited space) and dispose of packaging prior to your Charter in the recycling bins in the Marina). Remember that large containers of things, while practical at home, may not be practical on board due to limited space. You can pierce bags of lettuce etc to let the air out and wrap in gladwrap to save space also. Our local Master Butchers Whitsunday and Fishi -Fish suppliers can also cryovac your meat and fish for you, prior to you Charter, which keeps it fresher for longer.

All of our vessels have a fully equipped Galley and a BBQ on board which makes cooking easier.

You can recharge your wellbeing

Being out on the water has a beneficial effect on happiness, health and wellbeing, as highlighted by marine biologist Wallace J Nichols in his book, Blue Mind (a great read on board). The ocean has a calming effect and the big expansive views help quieten busy minds.
